Look i really like this logo the dress cutout in the lip is really smart and all.
BUT WHY THE GLOW!?
Glow looks hideous in print. Never ever implement it unless its for something web-based. You're well on your way to a usable logo if you remove the glow as is. Good luck!
While trying to hide something is the negative space can be pretty cool, the first thing i saw was these terribly deformed lips. It feels way too forced.
The main font looks really cheap, the kind of which you would expect on the menu of tourist restaurant. But certainly not a luxury brand.
The colors are really dull and do not stand out.
The subtext font and composition works, though. But that's about it.
One last thing, even if it's just as a matter of presentation, avoid the drop effect shadow. It's cheap and amateurish.
Glad I'm not the only one who had a hard time accepting the idea with the negative space. While clever, I wish the lips weren't quite that odd looking.
This is a really bad script font, too. I know that kind of lettering has been used in other places, but I personally don't get it. The lines don't come anywhere close to looking like they're connecting to the next letter. Must be a personal issue with that typeface with me.
Try developing a new idea. I think lips don't suggest clothing that much to begin with, anyway.
But the horrendous symbol is still there. That what you should spend the most time woreking on. i think you should let go of the lips. I personnally think it's a kinda sexist way to symbolize women.
Keep it up!
