why do you cut de circle??
I like the harmony you give by giving each thing their place, i mean typography and symbol.
But, i don't like the symbol itself, it needs to represent your name, and your name is CIRCLE not SEMICIRCLE, you are confusing your viewer brain, you have a great name, use it. I will give you a task: Design a creative circle.
If you happen to end up with a creative circle and quit the italics in "Art Centre" I promise you, you will end up with a great and neat logo!
