Brief from client
Client wanted something clean, simple and intuitive with corporation lookalike but modern.
Colors: CMYK, rasterized variations of 2 color tones for logo and K-80% for text.
I like it! The only thing id say is that your sub text might become too small when printing business cards and other stationery but maybe you could just drop it on those.
All is great but the symbol of heating waves. They look a bit like a bunch of mattresses which are thrown to fire, or sheets of metal cooling down. I would make it look like particles. Like this:
may i suggest a shape for the symbol which tells that "we produce Cold&Hot" , i don't know but this symbol gives me the meaning of "converting" from "cold to hot" & vice versa
I am glad it gives that meaning, because the solutions provided by this company does exactly that thing. Industrial ventilation systems that, with a switch of a button turns cold into heat and vice versa. Like your home small air conditioning unit.I find your feedback usefull. Thank you. :)
Can you be more specific about what you want me to be more specific about? =)
More seriously, the kerning is the space between two individual characters. It should be set harmoniously between each letter of your word mark so it's visually pleasing to the eye. If you look closely at your logo, you'll see that the different spaces between characters are not consistent.
The kerning is fixed width, and set on auto. You are right, the kerning is not equal, I didn't noticed it, because I assumed that being on auto ( just chekd again, it's auto ) it would be perfectly equal. The font is "Century Gothic", and I don't know if it is a bug or is intended to be this way. I will redo it when I have the time, with manual, individual kernink. Thank you.
Forget about the auto kerning. It can never be autotically right on for every fonts is different. Check out the optical and metric options. But sometimes you have to fix the kerning by hand.
I like it overall, but the symbol with the colors is a bit weird to me. I would work on it, it looks a bit choppy. I like the font choice and layout, overall great foundation, keep tweaking and you will have something great!
I like this. It's clean, modern, professional. I have only one reservation: the colors.
I'm not saying that you're wrong to use those colors. It seems that every HVAC company on the planet has arrived at red and blue as their color scheme. It makes obvious sense, rendering hot and cold air as red and blue. Sometimes you'll see some green thrown in, as a nod to environmentalism and energy consumption.
But with SO many companies using these colors, there's less to distinguish them, graphically speaking.
But, maybe the clasic HVAC colors are an atu. If these colors are so good imprinted in our mind as HVAC,maybe is more quickly understandable. I am not saying you are wrong, it's a good point of view, but I think mine is too. For example, it would be weird to see CYAN strawberries. Our mind is imprinted with the specfic red for strawberries, and makes it easy to recognize it, not only by the shape, but by the colors too. Wrong or right? :)
All valid points. Like I said, you're not wrong to use these colors. It's just that I think there are certain types of logos and signage that are cliche (dentists' logos and signs have a tooth or a smile, lawyers have a scale and use the font Trajan).

I don't want it to look like a 1995 Windows logo, or a DJ set equalizer. What do you think ?
I wanted it to look more like this:
Also, there's a bit of history, because the old logo looked like this:
