Brief from client

I've started collecting Clipper lighters some months ago and yesterday I created a page on Instagram where I'm going to post some photos and stuff related to my collection... Só, I wanted to do a "logo" for my page, I know it's nothing important, but I would like to know your opinion about it.

And here you can see a screenshot of my page with the logo applied on it, in this case, the Christmas version:
The logo is good, but is not working on your instagram page. I think a big mistake many designers make is trying to force the logo into an icon application, for example an insta icon or app icon. You should be thinking about this space as an opportunity to visually depict what your page does. Maybe try simplifying your logo to just the image of the flames here.
I don't agree with your opinion but I understand it. I will keep the full version and try to create a new simplified version to see if it fits better!
It was a tip I learned at Adobe MAX from one of the greatest icon designers of all time, take it or leave it!
Of course I'll take it, all tips are welcome! ;)
