Well maybe cut the gaps down between the words, drop woodlands, tx part and try to have the symbol a little less pixalted.

The idea is good- although I am fairly certain I have seen this done already.

The scan of the mark won't work. I would use a more elegant font.

"woodlands" is too small. I would get rid of it if possible.

Well, at least it's not a wine glass & bottle but this wine stain is not looking very pleasing and neither is the typography.

to be honest, i don't think that symbol works with it. that can be a simple brush for photoshop/illustrator.i think even just choosing the right font type can do the job to make it clean. there are other ways of doing it also, research some Wines, history of wines, etc. and i am sure you can pull out some out of the box ideas.

i happen to like this. Where did the wine ring come from originally? I would want to bring it into illustrator and convert it to a vector so it's a clean solid shape (still irregular) but without looking like it's something you scanned from a photo. You could then tweak the color to look like a wine stain with subtle gradations but it would have more integrity and reproduce much cleaner.
And I agree with G13..I'd really like to see "the Woodlands..' dropped..it throws a monkey wrench in it. If i had to nitpick one thing, I think the "wine bar' type treatment is ever so slightly boring, i think there is a better sans serif typeface out there for that would give you the same effect with a little more style..and maybe it doesn't have to be all uppercase
