Brief from client
Produce a logo that evokes a sense of traditional, home baking of the Highlands of Scotland.
This logo depicts a traditional, corrugated iron-roofed cottage typical of the West Highlands of Scotland. The mountain behind is a view of Ben Cruachan, Argyll's highest mountain and the client's bakery lies at the foot of it, in the village of Taynuilt. The requirement was to evoke a sense of traditional, Scottish, home baking. Design was produced by Duncan Lamont of Cruachan Creative Graphic design www.duncanlamontsdesignandpix.com

Good job on this logo. great color selection. for some reason it feels more like the mountains in spain that in scotland but it might just be me. great work
Love the colors. Great job all around. I'm not familiar with the mountains of Scotland so I'm not much help there. I think of foggy "Hound of the Baskerville" which isn't what you want : ). I would play with the font some, but I don't hate it.
I like everything but the blue circle, browns or beige would be better.
This works nicely as an emblem, I wouldn't call it a logo though, too complex.
Try turning it to b&w and scale it to 1 inch (2,5 cm) size and tell me if you still think this will work as a logo.
