CVA Designs Logo

Brief from client
I have a graphic design business and need a recognizable logo. I have come up with ideas for all types of businesses but have encountered problems when designing my own. My concept behind it was to keep CVA incorporated in it, as it is the business name but wanted to incorporate William II into it, thus the modification of the W and the legs being unique roman Numerals.

This was the old logo that i was not a big fan of.
It is too complicated a logo must be simple.
Way too complicated indeed, unpractical and really not appealing at all.
I don't see what you are referring to when you talk about "William II" and roman numerals. I don't see any of these.
To be totally honest, and i don't mean to be rude, it's a bit mind-boggling how one can have a graphic design business and still come up with really bad logos like these two.
Maybe you're a student trying to make a few bucks on the side, I don't know. But you still have a lot to learn before being able to create professional looking designs.
Good luck.
I thought they were wooden letter blocks like you play with as a kid. the blue stroke isn't helping the letters and I don't understand the two blue curved lines above the logo. Scrap this and ponder your design for a while before you start again. Also, don't go back to the old logo. It displays as a mass of dark on dark the doesn't read clearly at all. Surf this site for a while and look at the comments on good and bad logos. Great help with do's and dont's. You'll get there.
I'm not even reading the previous responses. This is horrible - start over.
