Brief from client
The client had a very bad logo. The brand motto is Bringing IDEAS TO LIFE.
The brand motto is Bringing IDEAS TO LIFE. Thinking about the theme I had the idea of a lamp out of an egg.
I like the look of this logo. This is definitely better than the one posted earlier by the client. I understand the concept, and i can read it.
I really like the concept, and the execution too.
I'm just not sure that it reflect the technological field in witch the company is involved. It think it's a bit too «cartoon» for this type of business.
I've take a look a their web site. Let's imagine that in a few years, this company is big enough so they want to print the logo on some of their product or maybe have their own packaging. This logo would have advantage to be a simple and strong shape, in one or two pantone colors.
I think just a cracking egg would be nice. Do we have to see the «idea»?
This lamp is well done but the association between a lamp and an idea is pretty common. Just a simple egg would be a nice symbol that this company is the genesis of great ideas.
Also not a fan of this big rounded font... This add to the «cartoony» effect.
The idea of only the egg party is very good. But the client has already decided by the lamp. Anyway, thank you for criticism. Your reviews are always very constructive.
I agree with what they said. The lamp is already widely used as an idea. Thank you all for your suggestions and criticisms, and try to further improve future proposals.
I love the SunPower version, This one looked cool but the comments were right about over used and with the rounded fonts...
Your work and style is great tho!
Keep up the great work.

Yes you right. Let me make some changes... "I'll be back!"

The idea is overused. I suggest to come up with something original.
Agree with botw.
Maybe some light come throught the egg, and the lamp appears inside the egg hmmm perhaps it is a little hard... :) ?
How about just a cracked glowing egg ... no light bulb. This still gives the impression that the egg is lit from within. Just an idea.

Unless the client is set on a particular font, I'd try a different one. If they are a high-tech company, try a font that looks and feels high-tech.
The egg AND the light bulb is a bit too much ... they compete with each other.
