i like what you did with the mix of letters, that's very fine, but you got to choose another font, no serif though and more solid, don't go bold......Gradients should go but the drop is fine, but after you choose another font you might be in the situation to remove or relocate the drop, anyway make it solid color, the 3d impression may also fall. This is the best version indeed, the idea is to give more impact or "oumph" for the eye.

I don't like it, the type is too big, and I need space to understand it! So, just minimize some stuff and I can tell you then.

I've seen your work and reworks around this logo, and first, let me congratulate your courage and determination.

I've posted something in a previous one (in that one with the needle) but something happened with the comment that is lost now.

In this case i just want to say that i feel you are a bit afraid to let behind the idea of joining D and U.

Unlimited makes me think in something wide and a little bit less restrictive than the current typos, they are very strong but not like an explosion, i feel it as a lock, as a police official.

As hueroth says, keep away of your idea the serif typography, it connects the concept with established things, not with creativity.

In the other hand is that drop. I can't deal with it. I want to see it as a butterfly wing or something in that way (as an insect eye… really don't know), but even with this in mind i can't say where it goes or why is it here. Maybe because the ink, but in that case it would be nice to see something more clear and specific, i think.

The color, i prefer the past magenta, because it works better in the creativity business, connecting with ideas and illumination. Blue is about confidence and loyalty whose could be fine, but this values goes better for another enterprise.

I'm so sorry to be a negative nancy about this, but the only thing I like here is the font that you chose for "designs unlimited" - but (in my opinion) it's not kerned or arranged like it should be. It feels like it's sticking out too far from the right side. It's nicely aligned on the left side but then it goes past the right side of the U. I think it could just be smaller and right underneath- all nicely stacked under the symbol.

Speaking of the symbol portion of the logo- for me, it doesn't do anything. I really REALLY dislike the blue outline behind it, but the DU with the drip between it is still a bad idea as far as my brain is concerned. If I saw this I wouldn't want anything to do with the company, let alone letting them design something for me.

Maybe there's another way to combine the D and the U?? Sorry to sound so negative- I too appreciate your work and determination!!! Keep going!
