Diamond is a company that sells chemicals. The inspiration to design its logo, came from the name of the company, so the isotype has the shape of a diamond. The logo represents the company's professionalism and quality of their products.

I don't hate it.But I feel that there may be better ways to go about it.
The diamond can be the "o" in the word Diamond...or maybe, working with your current concept, you can further develop the diamond on the left side of the treatment. I feel like it wants to look more like a diamond.
I must say I like it. Nothing ground breaking, but it's neat and clean.
