Brief from client
Logo for my company "dsign"where i make graphic designs. what do u think about it?
the idea is poorly represented. You cannot put that kind of word , tweaked like that with this font, so i gave thumbs down for both. Either choose to put , design either change the font (i would change the font anyway). The symbol resembles the vectorial process and many related software that are used and abused by designers, but use it in a coherent way, make something with a meaning not just a form. Oh, about the font again, use something more round , not condensed, easy to read font, no italics....
it´s kinda boring. The typography is to heavy for the "D" made with the line and nodes and all that. Besides, I think that you really have to catch the eye of potential clients not other designers so I really don´t think that making reference to nodes and handles of vectorial software appeals to bussinessman trying to find a designer. That´s my opinion, also, I think you could allow yourself to use more than one color.
The pen tool path has been done so many times before and never really works. Also it just looks like you spelt it wrong. Also it looks like it reads D Sign

I think it can be done with this idea. But I agree with Hueroth that the vectors & handle must form something more concrete.
If you have not used a graphics software before, like most clients you will be serving, the anchor points and handles don't make any sense.
