Brief from client 

It is a christian church.

One of the uses is in negative, I did the suggestions by using the tree as I and the flame as U, opinions....

Two symbols in a logo is one too many. Plus, none of them indicate any idea of religion.

Looks more like a ecological type of thing more than anything.

Agreed that two logos is too many, but disagree on the fact that neither has any idea of religion. A Christian logo does not have to have a cross or a heart.
Flames can symbolize rebirth or passion, the tree can symbolize growth and being rooted. *shrug*

If it is a church, what about Abraham Fire Bush, I mean why don't you make the tree on fire, but a stylized fire, so it does not seem like Forest Fire. I agree with Shawali, having two symbol/logo are too much.

Hi there JoSetio, funny you mentioned that, the original idea I had was a tree with flames and a cloud over the tree, but client didn´t liked at all, it had the same description you are mentioning, will post that sample and please reply with your comments. Cheers.

I'm not a good critic, so I'm just gonna tell you what I think personally. Overall I think you and I have a same way of thinking, only but:
1. It could be the cloud, but the cloud seems like it was done halfheartedly, it is unbalance, and many unrefined edges.
2 The Tree and the Leaves as well, it seems like they were done halfheartedly, straight out from Computer, before you put it down first as a concept on paper.
3. Maybe I'm not a mexican, so I don't understand what is that thing that look like a pair of scissor in the middle.
4. About the fire, Same with point 1 and 2, should have been done better.
5. Just like what Shawali mentioned, you can incorporate the "Tree of Fire" as the letter "I"
6. The typeface you use on DUNAMIS, IMHO, looks like Taco Restaurant, rather than church. It does not have the "charisma or authority" as the one you used on the other logo.

I think if you can refine the tree and the fire more, it will be a great logo.

if your going to use the tree atleast make it smaller or atleast use a regular "i" and leave the fancy "U" but so far its kinda too much...
