Layout wise, this is my favorite of all your iterations.
That being said, I'm wondering if you're lacking inspiration or sketch time.
This logo doesn't seem very personal to me. A personal logo embodies your personality, your logo aesthetic, and overall you as a person, a designer, and a businessperson.
I think your silhouette of the great lakes (I'm assuming that is what that is) is probably better served elsewhere.
Your typography is great, but I think you need to push that symbol to bigger places. Start sketching ideas that are relevant to East Coast culture, aesthetic, and even things that YOU like. Pinterest is definitely your friend here.

Thank you so much for taking the time to look at design. Since I am so new to design I'm not sure what my creative look is yet. I try starting with one one word or symbol and it just rolls from there till I get to something I like. The image is of the Maritime provinces. I've been thinking of going to design school. This new adventure is a big jump from being a driller for 15 years LOL
I did a full blown career change and went back for a degree after 13 years. IT CAN BE DONE! And I'm thankful every day I did it.....well every day except the day my student loan payment is due! lol
Keep it up! Everyone starts somewhere, and logo work takes time and patience. You've got this.
