Brief from client
Some of you may remember that I'm working on the rebranding of a restaurant in Paris. Among a thousand items to design, there are some names of salad recipes that I chose to hand letter.
"Eataly" is one of them. Terrible pun, but I had a lot of fun to make it =)

love it!!!! i wish i knew how to draw things like this
Only a few months ago, I wished it to. Just get yourself a graphic tablet, learn about brushes on Illustrator and sketch! =)
that's impressive! i want to learn calligraphy now :D i will try to find tutorials online i think :D
is it possible to buy a stylus and use it on a touch screen laptop??
No. You need a tablet that can simulate the pressure and the inclination of the stylus. I use a Wacom Intuos 4, which is great. They don't sell them anymore, but you can find some on Leboncoin.fr for around 200€. They're a bit pricey, but they're totally worth it.

Here's mine. Works wonderfully, and not that expensive.
both looks nice, i will maybe get one for christmas haha :) i can't use leboncoin anymore! (j'habite plus en france depuis 3ans)
also i am not sure where to begin to start learning calligraphy, where should i start?
The tables on this page are broken...
I love my tablet!
I highly recommend people get it. The 'Blob brush' in Illustrator is amazing for outlining art projects and painting in Photoshop is so much better than with a mouse!
It looks very nice!! Although I don't really think it fits as a logo for a restaurant since the style of your logo is being (over)used by clothing brands.
Thanks! It's not a logo for the restaurant itself, but for one of the salads on their menu.
It is quite elegant, good job.
we go for salad, my I need one of those tablets to divest myself of the mouse, Shawali good job, by the way this bug some comments are narrow or am I alone?
what do you think of lcd graphics tablets? and is the brand huion any good?
