Brief from client
Eco-Friendly Services specializes in the collection of used cooking oil.
It's too complex, you have too many things competing for attention.
The plant thingy is too big and looks like it's been downloaded from somewhere. Having just 1 or 2 leaves would be better.
The recycle logo also doesn't fit with the rest. Try simplifying it as much as you can. I uploaded some quick examples, they're not great, but should give you an idea as for what I mean with simplifying.
Get rid of the black, it makes the green and yellow stand out too much and gives it a toxic look.
I think the font looks nice and fits with the theme.
yea, i love simple.. tried to keep it that way at first. this client is absolutely ridiculous. i've explained to them that we've gone way past the point of any logo and are more just digital art now. they love the over complicated look though, and i'm looking to get paid. if it were up to me, i would delete all 3.
i figured i'd give them what they wanted, get paid(more than $100 too).. then create a whole new logo.. show them that, and if they like it, get paid again.

I strongly disagree with Oxyd (for once=)
Finish the damn logo, get paid and forget about it. This is not art. This is a business. And it's not always fun and game.
A designer who quits because he doesn't like what the client wants won't last long in the business.
Now it doesn't mean you don't have to do everything to convince the client this logo is the opposite of what they trying to say.
But at the end of the day, it's a just a job and you got bills to pay =) The next client will be less stupid.
Good luck =)

That's the spirit! =)
