Well, you sure didn't give much in the way of info... so I can't give too much of a critique. I don't think this works though, that's my initial impression. It looks like a melting shield with a melting E caught in the middle- not sure that gives a good impression of 'security' in any way, you know? I also don't understand the black/white gradient lines going through... but all that said, I'd just start over with something brand new.

I agree with Sara, this is way too random. Exactly what a logo shouldn't be.
