take off the effects in the symbol, temper the perspective for the symbol. the rest is fine...
Dude, U need to work the basic form of this symbol. Atention on the drop's edge. Yeah take off the effects, a solid bg is better. I'm not sure about the font, but I havent nothing to help U. Congrats!

Symbol needs Polishing - take the advice from Marcelo.
Definitely clean up that symbol as per Marcelo's example. I really like the use of your font. Maybe reduce the symbol in size a bit and you have a great look going on!
Yeah this is going to be great once it's cleaned up. Per what everyone else already said- gradients be gone, clean up the symbol as suggested (and props to Marcelo for the awesome visual aid!) and I also agree with taz about making the symbol smaller once it's finished. Nice job so far!
