It will be for myself so no brief.
Logo for a coffee company. I wanted to display the speed of the service on the logo. I may change the name later. Please tell me what you think about it.

I really like the bolt through the coffee bean, it works really well.
The only thing I am not fully sold on is the type used. I'm not even sure I can articulate as to why, to me it feels like it isn't up to the quality of the icon/bean/bolt idea.
A logo is only part of the brand but this feels like a good start, in my humble opinion.

As stated, I really like it, fits really well with the coffee bean.
If you have 2 minutes can you critique the Stage Digital logos? Even if it's just which do you prefer?

I do like the symbol. The slightly off center thunderbolt is pretty cool.
About that font, it's not bad per sé, but I'm pretty sure I've seen on anther famous logo, but I can't put my finger on it for some reason.
I would slightly reduce the size of the symbol.

Hate to play "Devil's Advocate" here, but I really liked the original font choice. I think it is just enough playful to go along with the symbol- which is simple yet clever!! =)

So, I like the idea. However, the symbol itself could use some simplifying and some smoothing. It isn't a bad symbol, but I think as far as a logo goes, you could make it better, while still keeping the lightning bolt through the coffee bean idea.
I do not like the font. It looks like a mix between a child's shoe company and an african safari company. I would keep shifting through different choices. A good website to use if you're short on cash is losttype.com. They work on donations, but you can download without donating.
