Fat Boy Design

Brief from client

A logo for myself. I have the first version of a fat baby boy. My wife keeps telling me it was not a boy, but a baby, so I made another older version of the boy. So here come Fat Boy!

@JMG3 I took your suggestion, and I took him back to illustrator, and simplified him a ton. SO....

@mugwithglasses I think you have it going, so I took your idea and implement them into the Logo. Tell me what you think? I incorporate the Fat Boy as the letter B in BOY.

This is the EVEN MORE simplified version.
I hope you guys are happy now, you have stripped down all the dignity left from this poor fat boy.

Thanks. LOL

First I read "Fat Oy" and two, avoid this kind of silly joke. It's childish, totally unrelevant and doesn't say anything good about your professionalism.

That being said, the little guy is well simplified, you might be able to do something with it.

God luck!

Hi joSetio,

Totally agreed with Shawali, I don´t like at all the silly joke.

Even thou you have used the boy as a B, it´s not good at all, because the boy doesn´t look like a B which is what it could be nice, I don´t know how to do it myself but, if you look up other good logos, somehow they do it.

Sorry but I think you need, as I´m doing myself, a lot of sketching before come with a good idea.

Keep working I´m sure that soon or later, that great idea will come.

lol even tho this is probably ment as a joke i like the layout now.
I like how you centered the boy in the design if you can some how accent a b on the out lines that would be dope. im not sure how i feel about the censored line, really takes the "professionalism" out of the design, Sometimes peoples critique can seem hard or like it beats the "$#!T" out of your creative flow and design, we do it for the best to help hopefully make your design a clean, dominate, professional logo. :)

Thanks Stephen, I really dont mind for any critics, no matter how brutal it is. I have been a designer not a day or two. I have been a designer for almost 13 years. I really appreciate people's critics and comments here, I really do, sincerely. I really got this naked boy idea spontaneously, by bluntly concluding all people's critics, and I was laughing my ass off, and I really couldnt hold it to not to do this. But seriously, with all due respect to all the admins and owner or critics, back in my day when I was in a design critic session, all participants were allowed to give critics as blunt as possible or as mean as possible, BUT they were also MUST give a solution to the critics they gave. That is called a good critics, which what I did to mugwithglasses' design. I hope what I said here never offended anybody. I just want to give an idea on how to improving this critics section. I never meant to dictate or be expert, I lm only giving my two cents. All in all I sincerely apologize for my silly joke.
