Brief from client
Client requested a corporate identity for his LLC.
Mainly for appearance purposes.
He wanted simplicity, class, and F for his last name.
This was the final draft of what I made for him.

Some other options I sent him in the beginning stages.
I like where this is going but right away, I'll tell you to remove these ornaments at the base of the logo. They way too clip arty and brings nothing relevant to the whole thing.
I would also tweak the base of the symbol.
Also, though I don't see any problem with having the logo with a texture, a kind of deluxe version, always have a version with solid color, or black & white. You need to have some flexibility depending on what medium your logo will be used on.
Good job so far.
Thank you!
Will tweak it a bit
I completely agree with shawali about removing the ornaments at the base of the logo. I would lay it out differently with the symbol on the left and text to the right.. i would also make the size of the symbol a bit smaller so theres not such a big contrast between the size of the symbol and text. I really like the texture running through the symbol.
Very nice job so far!
Thank you!
I will play around with variations of the logo some more.
I feel the same about the ornaments, especially since they're not connected. I am also a fan of the texture. I'm a bit of a sucker for distressed looks. It can be improved, as suggested above, but like it nonetheless.
Thanks. I am a sucker for distressed/grunge icons and graphics. haha It's a bad habit of mine to use often... Now that I've got other opinions I don't like the ornaments below either... I thought the logo looked too bare, but it stands alone without those just as well.

this has some good potential. Iike how its placed on the city background. The swash ornaments seem placed in.. it be nice to have a more free flowing ornament in its place! Nice work so far.
Thank you! And I'll be honest.. they are just 'placed in'. There wasn't much thought behind them other than... me thinking the logo couldn't stand on its own. But (as i just commented above) - now that I am seeing others opinions through my eyes as well, the logo would look just fine and still as strong with nothing clinging onto the bottom or just oddly placed there.
