Fold
Brief from client
This is a practise brief I am doing. The company I have made up is called Fold, its a company that produce pocket sized notebooks/sketchbooks.
I wanted the logo to be simple, as I would target this product was widely as posible, from business people to students, to artists who need a small sketchbook to write down immidiate idea's.
The inspiration came from Field Notes, however I wanted to make my own brand simular to this just for fun.
I made this font to look simple and to ensure that it is easy to read when printed on the front of the notebooks, but also when used in new digital media such as on a facebook profile. I added the small folding element to the top of the F to make the logo unique and relate to the company.
Any advice and opinions would be amazing!
Thank you for taking the time to view my post.

I like the idea, and the simplicity, and the font works great for this. Here's my only beef- the stroke weight on the F is thicker than the rest of the letters. I'm guessing that was done to make room for the fold, but if you can find a way to keep everything uniform and keep the fold- you'd have a very cool logo. =)
This logo is great.
The only thing i would do differently was to make the fold at the top of the 'f' very light grey so its easy to tell what that is for.
Para mim ficou bem legal e funcional, precisa apenas de alguns ajustes tais como deixar todas as letras na mesma espessura, seria fundamental (mantendo a dobra). Gostaria de ver isso em seu trabalho!
The OP may not read Spanish. Please give your feedback in English so he and everybody else can understand. At least, provide a google translated version if you can't type in English.
Gracias!
For me it was really cool and functional, just needs some adjustments such as leaving all the letters in the same thickness, would be key (keeping the fold). I would like to see this in your work!
The idea is a good one but nothing ground-breaking... The whole thing needs a lot of refinement though.. The thickness of every letter should be the same and the fold itself isn't correct - if you actually cut the shape of the "f" out of a piece of paper and fold it in the corner like that you will find that it should not have a point but be rounded as the corner of the letter not folded would be rounded too if you get what I mean?!
Other than that though just a few tweaks here and there and you will have yourself a solid logo!
My 2 cents. Like others already commented. Make stroke (thickness) the same. round off any visible spikes or edges, make the bottom line in F smaller so you can bring the rest of the letters closer together (snugger) but keeping an eye on the kerning.
