Forever Water Fund

Brief from client

To creative a unique stand alone logo that has multiple uses.

This was a redesign/rebranding effort to give Forever Water Fund a much needed facelift. FWF is/was a Non-for-Profit organization dedicated to distribution of clean water and the installment of filtration systems in impoverished countries. Unfortunately, Its founder CEO Norman Rogers, passed away before its completion. I felt a fitting tribute was to solider on and create a symbol that is synonymous with "clear water" and the greater fight against poverty.

" In loving memory of Norm Rogers, a man with a huge heart." - Evonne Rogers

Interesting! Can you share with us how will it look without the background, and how will it look in mono colour?

i think there's too many colors, and too much happening inside the W.
"forever waterfund" isnt aligned to the W.
and i think the W seems too big compared to the text.

I liked the W and the waterdrop idea though.

I'd change the font completely for the strapline ( I hate the 'R's in particular) and center it - as darkreixor advised. Also you need to sort the kerning out.

Would be nice to see a single colour version without the background too.

After these amendments, i'd say it's ready to ship to the client ;)

Wait, stop the press.

While I love the look of this, you've got some cleanup to do before sending this off to the client.

In the water droplet, look where the straight lines meet up with the curve of the bottom part. That should be much smoother, right now there's a pretty hard knee where those shapes were welded together, particularly on left side. Is it not symmetrical?

Other than that, this is great. I know gradients and shadow effects are usually frowned upon around here but I think this looks really good.
