Brief from client 

SELF PROMO LOGO

Hi all-
I was just kicking this around. A couple of things I read in the last couple of days lead to this.. Splash's comment on here (somewhere) about designers just using a straight Helvetica type as a logo.. and a book (and articles) about the N.Y. subway system (along with many huge corps) using Helvetica. Although my roots aren't in N.Y. My artistic roots are in graffiti, which has it's roots in N.Y.
It's just so recognizable.. but it is also sort of a spoof.. which lends itself to my humor side..
I doubt I would use this as my BE ALL- END ALL LOGO..
I don't know.. it just popped into my head. Thought I'd run it by you.

Or maybe the NY thing wouldn't come across.. and it would just be like "G13 in circles, ok.. so what ?"

I like it. Although, in the real life subway signs they put the circles under the text.

Hope you also read that comment of mine to the end, it also says something about colors...
I think you are moving in the right direction at last. Now you need to find how to express what you are really about.
I really hate to see you struggling with this so I am giving you your new logo for free.

yeah i don't think you would want to put the NY sub feel to it, i am a graffiti artist as well, but don't forget about the roots of Graffiti, New York has its roots when it started to show up due to the Death of Charlie Parker aka Yardbird or Bird. Graffiti dates back to ancient times.

i say lose the NY Subway feel overall. you're heading somewhere with it
