Brief from client
No joke, "I want it to say GENIE and look great" was my "brief" from the client. I normally don't take on jobs like this except that i've done work for them for years so I'm very familiar with their target market, goals, capabilities, etc. :)
"Genie" logo.
The company is growing and just learning that design methodology actually exists. The client had an idea that he had to see into fruition and I did the best I could.

This is just great! If I would have done something I would try to make the lamp more 2d... Love the typo. More power to it.

overall is good but may be if you start smoke effect from " N " with look balance ... just in my opinion ... otherwise perfect :)
Very nice - Cant you try moving the lamp so that the direction of the smoke is more in line with the lamp's spout. (just an idea) - or maybe flip the lamp sideways.
The lamp is fine. You could have the word Genie in the shape of.....eh a Genie.

Well great logo, i just love it, love the 3D effect, love all...
I like it but try to make the lamp smaller or less appearant or more abstract, the text is good enough by itself I think

Excellent image, but, if your client wants his logotype in his car, how do you converts a sticker?
