I think a (Signature) logo is always a safe and personal option.
I like what you did. I am always too worried about thin lines specially when things go small.

Very Nice. Like it very much. One suggestion (whatever its worth,) can you alter one of the 'G's' slightly? They are both identical, which doesn't happen in handwriting.

Agreed, it looks nice, but is it just a font that you found and typed the name out with? Did you modify it at all?
I would try writing/drawing ggdesign in a similar style with pen and paper, then tracing it in illustrator to make it truly your own. You'll get an authentic "handwritten" style too.
At least, do as lonzo said and modify your Gs :)

Handwriting myself was my first idea but obviously I didn't go with it cause I was second guessing my handwriting. I'll repost this week to see what you guys think. Thanks for everyone's input.
