Brief from client
My LLC name is Good Steward Investments LLC. I need cards made but first and foremost a logo. GSI... the G and the S can be regular style letters. You can play with and choose the font.
The client likes it but wants me to add the colors red, yellow, and green. I just don't know what to do, any suggestions?

Getting better.. you still need to give "investments" some room..
It feels really unbalanced to me

OK- Here is what I probably would have handed in as a first draft.
It's a little less boring than just a conservative type face logo.. but far from exciting..
I don't know why this nut is asking for a multi-colored investment logo.. It's not exactly a party industry.. unless he is thinking in the realm of a conservative Microsoft style logo.. get some clarity on that by asking him for examples of logos he likes or likes the style of.. That will be very helpful.
If he is thinking san-serif font with a graphic mark.. you need to re-think the whole thing.

Wow that's awesome, im pretty new to this whole logo branding stuff but the colors he wanted to add have to do with the african flag. Also i put investments close because i liked how it fits perfectly under. What font did you use? Let me talk to him a bit.
I think that's Adobe Garamond.. If that's wrong I'll let you know.
OK- now the colors are making a bit of sense... To solve that, instead of the African colors, I would make a globe that was positioned so that Africa faced towards the viewer.
Making a Rasta Investment co. logo just doesn't make any damn sense..

Word. Some things clients ask for need to be politely put down. Politely, but forcefully.
