I get were your going with it but the logo still needs some work maybe re trace the logo to clean it up a bit and give it a little more 50's feel but i personally think its ok. Not there yet but i like the style.

I love the 50's vintage style. Spot on.

Just try to other colors, it's true that this bright blue and black don't do justice to that glorious design.
