GRATO

Brief from client
GRATO is a colombian brand that produces meat from different animals. They use only natural processes that make their offer sustainable. They want just one brand that includes the 4 different animals they work with.
Not a fan of the subtext font though. The main font is ok, but a bit too corporate for a food related business. Especially with an awesome food like meat! It kinda lacks some human touch, something more organic, if you see what I mean.
I did try with more organic fonts trying to find the way to make it more natural. The problem is that the name is too short and the illustrations are to powerful. Maybe if I use another kind of font, is posible that each element fight with the others. Thanks for your help!
I like this logo has great harmony, caught my attention the word ovejo camuro is it?
Greetings from Venezuela José if you know of a good advertising business beyond me avizas friend Please worth much weight here firtsblood.green@hotmail.com here I can write
I like what he's done, it's pretty nice but however, I agree with what you said Charlie on the text.
However it is a great job.
Maybe try another font. This in my opinion.
Is that far left icon a dog? It looks like a dog to me, which suggests that dog is one of the kinds of meat they work with. As that is probably a goat, some horns would go a long way.
this is how a camuro looks like. They don't have horns. It is a different animal but from the same family. For me it doesn't look as a dog. But following your advice, I will check with another persons what they think about it.
Jose, you need to outline a nose/lips area on a symbol to let all the confusions go away. I like your concept. Rooster looks almost a human and that kind of freak me out a bit. Overall - great job! Greetings from Phoenix, Arizona U.S.A.! By the way - how that meat taste?
To be honest, I haven't tasted it yet. The client says is amazing. But is not easy to find in the common butcheries. The real market for it is outside my country, central america mostly. Rooster like a human? Really? ok, I will improve it in order to avoid that confusion.
Thank you, Jose! Yes, that Pollo without any outline reminds me a King of Poland with a beard and a crown and a hair flock on his neck =). One day I will invite you and Cesar here in Phoenix and take you both to our local Mexican store , to carneasada section.
Okay, I see.
I looks like a Wiener Dog to me. Indicating the nose and mouth would clear that up, at least for me. I'm no in the target country though. :)
Waffles, my sibling sister lives in Maple, ON and I have been in and out of Canada many, many times. Congratulation on 150 th Birthday! What is your favorite hockey team? I'm a die hard NY Rangers/Strangers fan.
Its a dog with a camel face =). On a funny side if you take " R " and place it at the end - it will read " GATOR ". Jose, double check that outline on ears of the cow ( Baca ) and make sure that outline is correctly done to divide an upper and lower part of the ear to pull away from a coffee bean look.
Rooster is much better, cow's ears outline needs to be fixed, as it creates a strange feeling how they positioned compare to a head. But a goat outline didn't make it. Jose, look at a photo of a goat and make a nose with lip.
Jose, how about if you filled into your letter meat texture, as you are looking at a meat package ( similar what designers do when they're working on wood/carpentry concepts). I think you can achieve that with Adobe Illustrator. That would make your concept stand out on its own. Good luck.

a very well done job :D
thanks bro. I really appreciate your opinion
Nice! Can't read "premium" that well. Also I think the rooster could be more clear. Good job
I like where this is going.
Not a fan of the subtext font though. The main font is ok, but a bit too corporate for a food related business. Especially with an awesome food like meat! It kinda lacks some human touch, something more organic, if you see what I mean.
Keep it up!

Kind regards from Chia, Colombia.

Waffles, Happy July 4 th !!!! Would be nice to have that GRATO brand on our holiday table...
I'm Canadian. ^_^
We celebrated Canada Day on the 1st.
I agree though, the GRATO Brand is looking very nice now. It would have been nice on the table.
Waffles, my sibling sister lives in Maple, ON and I have been in and out of Canada many, many times. Congratulation on 150 th Birthday! What is your favorite hockey team? I'm a die hard NY Rangers/Strangers fan.
Real life team? The Vancouver Canucks.
Fake Team? The Springfield Ice-o-topes.
Here is my concept for Canucks I did in the past.

What now?
Rooster is much better, cow's ears outline needs to be fixed, as it creates a strange feeling how they positioned compare to a head. But a goat outline didn't make it. Jose, look at a photo of a goat and make a nose with lip.
I roughly sketched a goat and changed position of the ears.
This solves my issue. Thanks! :)

Sorry, Félix, I had to delete your latest posts on this thread.
Please try not to highjack somebody's post with your own unrelated work.
You're right Charlie, me and Waffles got carry away with Ice Hockey passion.
it looks much better with the animal heads centered to GRATO!
nice job
