El GUME escuela de Basquetbol se le conoce asi hace ya más de 35 años realmente se llama Gumersindo Romero Nombrado así en honor al profesor Gumersindo Romero Velásquez, mismo que desarrolló una gran pasión y vocación hacia la disciplina del baloncesto, pues, hasta antes de su deceso, se encontraba al frente de los grupos de niños y jóvenes que tenían la misma pasión por el deporte de las canastas.
Este deportivo fue creciendo en popularidad y carecia de logotipo, la cual el diseñador gráfico Lic. Gabriel Gómez Macias, al ver esto dono el grafismo que ahora se utiliza como imagen

I know, I can read Spanish. It's just a matter of politeness and respect. We have people from all over the world and not all of them speak Spanish.
i avoid using outiline on fonts, makes them harder to read, also avoid warping them, unless i draw them like that. The symbol has too much stuff going on and interfer with the type. Tidy you should make it and with less minor stuff inside the majot stuff.
That is some hairy looking basketball??? Reminds me a Chippolino character from Italy." Gume " being squeezed like that similar in shape to a well known brand " TAP OUT ". A shield behind a ball has some " Citroen " elements that are reversed, start looking as a passing by swallow. Too much of many different things in here and a rim almost invisible and will not be visible in a small print.This one needs a major overhaul.
