Brief from client
Guxharu, mexican brand under which salt of worm and chapulin is commercialized.
The client looks for a new modern image, but preserving the handcrafted essence of the product.
One of the requirements is to preserve the figure of the chapulin

Ok, I almost gave you green thumbs all across the board, but it's not a good logo yet. Let's say that I like the different elements separately, but not together.
First, you need to rethink the composition. The symbol is cool, but it's too big and it's killing the text.
The font is good, but the kerning is off. You need to tweak that.
Now I really don't like the red on red color scheme. You need way more contrast. It's not really readable for now.
I would let go of the square/frame thing. you'll have way more flexibility with just the symbol and the text.
maybe you might want to do something about the hind leg as well. At the first glance it struck me as too muscular.
That is a bad looking bug, sorry. Is it a baby grasshopper? I would look at more grasshopper pictures, and try to find a more elegant way to render it. How does this look in black and white, or in just one color? I'm guessing not too good.
