Just curious, is the swirl thing a sucker...I don't get candy from that at all. As a matter of fact, it looks more like a snail. I do like the colors, though.
Thanks for the feedback! I can see how it would look like a snail. But yes it is an abstract piece of candy or some sort of sucker.
If it was two colours it might be more noticeably a lollypop. Something to try at least! :D
I think it just needs some minor tweaking at this point. I don't care for the side leaves, and I think the symbol could be a bit more apparent. Love the colors, though.

overall it's not bad. i love the choice of the colors.
the kerning on 2015 looks waaaay off! not sure if the leaves on each sides of the text are necessary. I would blow the symbol a little bigger
And the F-A in FAMILY. A lot of fonts don't have proper kerning pairs, especially the newer ones (although I have yet to find a set of Futura with good pairs). So don't trust the font to do it for you, many designers don't include them. I'm starting to wonder if they even teach about kerning or any other font related crafts in design schools anymore.
Other wise good start, like the colors (nice pallet looks fallish without the usual orange and brown), don't like the extra leaves on the ends and the candy looks a little too close to the Target bullseye, maybe try a couple of the wrapped pieces from your earlier version.
