Awesome.....works...

Flashy? NO! Eye catching? Yes! But that's only because it's humungous and if you're eyes are open, you'll notice it, otherwise my friend.... this is not noticeable. If you ask me, it's a little juvenile and amateurish. Kinda like commenting on it and telling us how awesome it is before anyone else takes a stab at it. If you want something that's flashy, add a splash of colour. That'll also make it more noticeable. There is not a whole lot of creativity here... Go pour yourself a drink and get some of those creative juices flowing!

Hehe... Yeah, normally you wait and have OTHER people comment on what works or what doesn't work.... That's kinda the point of the critique section!

I'd get rid of the bars going across the top/bottom for sure, and maybe you could have the headphones placed on top of one of the letters as though it was a head!? It just needs something, it's kinda boring as it is. Color would help, and do something else with those headphones. Maybe make THOSE in color, put it all on one line, and have the top of the J 'wearing' the headphones??

Nothing to say about this, don't try to improve it, improving is easy because is so much to improve. Start all over. In my vision make a dj head from the title and pus some headphones on it, 2 colors or 3 maximum, change that font, take productions out of the line and put it simple and little on the corner. And now i see sara suggested something similar , so go go go !

It is bold. I don't think you need the clipart headphones, most everyone knows what a "DJ" does and it looks thrown in. If the headphones were around the letters "DJ" it might be more unique. Also, this looks like stock type, try making it more unique as well.

It reminds me of the warning sticker "Parental Advisory - Explicit Lyrics". Maybe that is exactly what you intended. I agree with 2423media in the headphones. Better leave them out.
