Brief from client
A brand for a publicist friend.
The name of the agency is graphic ideas, I hope tips.
Thanks!
Charlie will most likely will say it again: " This is as old , as FUCK! " I remembered well him being angry at any idea involving a light bulb being used.I cannot agree more.
Yes, light bulbs are overused. If you are going to use one in your logo then it needs to be something really special. Like in this link, where I (Another big hater on the bulb) also commented about how neat it was.
If you removed the bulb and tried something new much of this could be salvaged! :) Good luck!
Well that review was absolutyly worthless, how about i try to give you a critique you can actuall build on. Starting with the name, if the firm is Graphic Ideas then the logo should read the same, the use of i-graphic is a little misleading and some may not connect the two. The lightbulb is a universal symbol for idea, your challenge would be to use it in an unexpected, clever way to stand out from the others. The font choice is a good timeless classic font, however the large tilted G is way out of ballance with the rest. i shy away from using "&" where you should spell out and. The ampersand is traditionally used only in abreviations (for example AT&T is spelled out Telephone and Telegraph) or names (Johnson & Johnson). Nothing wrong with your color choice. Rework a few ideas and lets see what you can come up with.
