Looks like a firecracker exploded below MP.
Two red dots (on 'i' and '!') are not working, it make this look like brackets so it reads MPACT CNC.
Idea is pretty weak and I think you need to give this some more thought if you want it to work.

Looks like "MP" stepped on a frog.

Perhaps a cracked letter would communicate the feeling of the collision or punch you want.

I think it might work if the red flare were removed and the text was left as it is. fill in CNC with red.

I would use a slightly darker red :.
