Brief from client
IRON CITY is a sports restaurant that you can bring your family to enjoy the sports eat great food and drink beer. They required a bold tough logo to reflect the qualities of the community. Back in the day the community was known for its major production of steel and bridge infrastructure which is how they got the name IRON CITY, so the logo needed to reflect this and feed of their heritage as the name suggests.
They also will be selling merchandise as well.

First impression is that it looks good but unstable. Bold font goes will with toughness and strength but the thin font and it literally looks like its breaking away because the effect you have it on their. Doesn't look stable so I would keep the rust effect on IRON CITY and get it off the bottom font group. Plus you can barely read the B and the D.
The effect that you gave this logo is used to give the illusion of weathered, but it's more suitable for an old t shirt or a bad Xerox print.
You should definitely stay with the Iron I beams. Try using mix of bolder colors too. Good job so far
