Meh...

Try to loosen it up a little a bit, it looks all contrived in that oval shape and rectangle.

Try a different but complementing font for "construction"

Imho, it doesn't look anything like a logo for a construction company. More like a hair salon from the 90's. Sorry =)

Get the typo stronger, much stronger. The oval shape - - - must that really be? I know it is difficult if a client wants a new logo but no change to the old one ...
