This has potential.

The symbol isn't quiet good yet. There are too many twirls, making the whole thing too complicated. I don't like what's going on with the leaves at the base of the trunk.

As for the colors, different shades of green seem to be the obvious choice, but then I'm not a fan of the font being black. It kinda disrupt the harmony of the logo.

Nice but too many leaves near the trunk. The gold color looks bad.

Agreed with what's been said previously, I'm also loving where its going but I'll also add that the leaves that "cut-off" at the top bother me - like A LOT.

I think it just comes off like the outer ring was just randomly placed without much thought to how it will make sense to the viewer.

So far your font is working well, I like it and please don't change it.

Also your colors are a little... harsh maybe? Its mostly the yellow causing this, you can try a more muted yellow or a complimentary lighter (or darker) green to help it all flow nicer. I would also kill off 1/3 of the leaves you have here so it opens up better and half of the spirals will have to go. Remember to just keep it simple!
