JM Home Solutions
Brief from client
"A logo that will show clients what to expect when they book me for jobs. I want a figure of a man that resembles me. Make him kind of buff. I want large nail bags, blueprints in hand, and my demolition hammer in the other. I want a shape to represent a modern house the ones that look like they have a flat roof. I am going towards higher-end clients so I need a logo that looks professional."
This is a logo for my cousin that does home renovations and home add ons in the San Antonio area. He wanted one of those logos that shows a figure of a man with his tools (I usually hate these types of logos and have never made one before) My cousin was in the army so he wanted the figure to have a slight military feel. I feel like this logo could work well if dye-sublimated onto the back of t-shirts or as a decal to be applied onto his trucks and enclosed trailers. At a tiny size, I have a variation of the logo where it is just the "JM" within the "House shape" that is behind the figure. (think kind of how youtube uses its favicon with just the play button)
JM are his initials. Might be a bit too many colors but works well as single color as well. It's been a while since I've submitted anything here. It feels good to be back.

Too illustrative, too many details, too many strokes with different width.
This needs to be simplified drastically.
Keep it up!
