Kids Ministry Church logo

Brief from client
A client hired me to create a logo for a children's ministry. The name of the church that this ministry is part of is Port Church.
So I actually find this interesting. Its actually super cool how you made the d and the s almost a smiley face, and this has a really playful feel to it.
I don't enjoy how muted the colors are. the orange blue and green palette is fine, but I'd rather see bolder versions of those colors when it comes to children.
I'm also not really seeing anything religious about this logo, however that is probably not an issue. It makes it unique.
I agree with the above about the colors.
This logo looks cute and kids like. Nice.
The dot of the ( i ) is off balance, could you try keep it on top of the i as it should be?
I'll echo the comments about the muted colors, as well as the dot of the i. I'm also wondering how important the word "port" is. It feels a bit crowded with it included. But I love the overall look! Great job.

This is really cute- I think it will appeal to kids really well. But the colors- I also think they should be brighter.
