Brief from client 

International Foundation coeducational club, and this logo is for the members os the club in my city. Kiwanis is a global organization of volunteers dedicated to improving the world, one child and one community at a time

...um...don't they already have a logo and don't they require you to follow their graphic standards?

Yes, they already have a logo, but there are independent clubs in several countries, they have their own graphics, names and logos.

Every Kiwanis club logo I could find did indeed use its own layout. However, they all used the actual Kiwanis logo in their graphics.

There are several examples for graphics of Kiwanis 'events' without their logo used, but nothing I could find for clubs. The general style guide on their website didn't say officially, but I am not in the club and cannot check any club guides.

I would say check first, but that I think it is like a very similar organization I do a lot of graphics for. They will say no. Trust me, they will.
