K.S. designer logo

When I first looked at this on the main page, I asked myself, what is this a logo for, and I came up with a gemologist. The red looks like a ruby. The KS doesn't say too much without descriptor text...e.g. Kim Smith Designs. There are rough spots on the curves of the S. Was this done in a program like Illustrator? I would like to see what other ideas you have. This just doesn't work for me.

I thought it was for a jewelry store. Since it isn't I think the Typography could work. It wouldn't work for a jewelry store, but for a designer it could.

The K and the S fit together so well, I would extend that K kicker though and fill that space evenly. (after that rough S is fixed as well)

That random symbol has to go though.

This is more a signature rather than a logo. And there's nothing wrong with that, on the contrary.

Now, it's far from being done. I too am not feeling the ruby-like background. It's a bit gimmicky and kinda gets in the way of a good readability.

I like where you going with what looks like hand lettering. But it needs some major fine tuning, especially the S.

Pro-tip: when you want to upload a logo here, don't make it that big. Have enough white space around to let it breath. It's easier to the eye that that kind of "in your face" thing =)

I'm looking at lower extended part of a " K " with red around it above the lower part of "S " and it looks as a male erected penis. We have to be careful with a negative spaces and think how that will affect a general public when they look at? Lot's of work on polishing that " KS " monogram.

Or, perhaps, " KS " stands for " Kill Switch".

You have to use the anchor point tool on the K as well as the S. A couple sharp edges on the S and the K looks funky on the lower part of the K (warped). The BG just looks like the standard Samsung background with Red.
