I don't like this version. Phoenix Suns already got that bird like that centered in their logo - so, to many it would be an old news. Not saying that it was modified from that, but it looks pretty close. I would dimmer a white a bit to bring colors more softly together. For " Fenix " a different font would do more justice. Eliminate the gradients around Grafico. Decent job, so far.
The concept is similar, but given how that is pretty much what one expects from a phoenix rising from the flames, I would say they are different enough. :)
I think that if you combine that nice take of the bird rising above " F " from version 2 with the feather feature from concept version 3 and just touch up on a composition - it would be your best bet in here.I personally like not symmetrical logos, as they look sharper. You have that awesome start in version 2 with a bird rising above " F ". There are too many logos with a Phoenix bird that centered above text and I live in Phoenix Arizona and every day see many similar logos in that regard: sport, plumbing, printing, transportation, police, fire department and etc. They just repeating themselves. Anyhow, you do what you feel is the best for you - I'm here to post a comment. Good luck to you!
I understand your burn out with Phoenix(s). I live in a town with Summit in the name that is nowhere near mountains. But 20% of the local businesses here have some type of mountain in their logo. For me, no matter how good, a logo with a mountain or Summit is instantly negative for me.
Everyone probably has something so overused in their area, it turns them off. And that makes it very difficult to critique those logos.
This topic interests me, what "local" logo trend turns everyone off?
I'm not a fan of this since day 1. Very cocky and dated to my taste. It doesn't fit a one person operation, like a freelance graphic designer. Too corporate. You're not a company, you are a person. Keep it simple and humble.

I like the centered version.
If you must keep the centered line by "grafico," I'd adjust it to fade out on the outer sides, not toward the center.
I also much preferred the old "X". Felt more natural. Who the hell is going to confuse it with Scotland's flag? :)
Yep! Best one so far. lose the gradient on the Grafico lines altogether.
And as KillSwitch said, go back do the original "X". If someone sees a white X on a blue background and starts craving haggis, that is on them.
look at a version that doesn't have the blue holding out of the neck and see how that one looks.
All that being said, I like this one a lot.
I congratulate you brother, I see you've found something strong here, I like what you've done.
A great job, try this version with the previous "X" and you have a winner.

Lake Monsters are overused here!
(Legitimately)
Loch Ness? lol
I imagine it would be far worse in Scotland. That is true.
