LOGO Branding for socks business "EYE CANDY SOCKS"

Brief from client

cute funky designer socks similar to products like happy socks etc.
requires a branding concept for now the logo that represents the a young brand targeted at teenagers, young adults and formal wears.
The logo needs to be printed into stickers which will be used as promotional items.

The brand is called Eye Candy socks so I guess I went the concept of a lollipop.
Mueso font used for the text, I did customized and adjust it abit towards my liking.
Made from Illustrator with paper sketches at start.
Love to opinions on it, not sure if its fits well with its target audience
or maybe a bit too flamboyant or feminie in its appearnce?
I did really push the color schemes to give a more 'pop' outlook.

Any suggestions is good!
Thanks for the help ^^

This looks fine and dandy, but when it looks like a logo for a candy store.

I think you went too far with the lollipop thing. The expression "eye candy" is supposed to be a metaphor and you kinda just turned it into a literal thing.

I agree...great idea, wrong target audience :)

I'm not really bothered by the lollipop, but it translates too easily to "candy shop."

I happen to like the idea. I'd guess that the target market is young women or kids. The only thing that could be a booger is the "C" in "SOCKS". The tight kerning might give you some real trouble. I'd think about popping the kerning out a little bit.

Don't forget to see what the logo will look like in one color. For instance, if you're having cheap tee shirts made, one color will be your best bet. You can theoretically use halftone screen for different color, but it doesn't produce the best results. The same applies to vinyl cutouts (stickers).

i think the symbol looks pretty cool but i'm not feeling the text with the ribbon.
i have to agree with everybody else though....it looks like the target audience would be children.
