Logo for a climbing and mountaineering company
Brief from client
"I am looking to set up my own company prior to me leaving in two years which would continue in the same vein with guided trips, mountaineering consultancy and some remote/mountain medicine provision/teaching.
One aim I suppose is to go with a design that is clean and will stand the test of time and is also quite modern in feel.
Regarding imagery a carabiner (Clip/Krab) in the climbing and mountaineering world provides security and is trusted. Some say the sound of a krab snapping shut calms you during a stress full climb so the ability to incorporate that could maybe be a subconscious trigger of trustworthiness?
Once settled on, the aim would be a logo that can be used to support the below promotional outputs."
I am looking for help checking this logo for originality for my client. They are worried it might be similar to other logos out there. In my research so far I haven't come across anything that is worryingly similar to this, but I would appreciate any input or knowledge.

I haven't looked to see if there is anything similar to this but all i can say is that i really like this logo! its nice and clean and well put together. Good job
