Brief from client 

Logo is a concept logo for a new upcoming RPG video game based on capturing monsters' souls and battles between them. The silhouette cutout from the main piece is of one of the monsters from the game. (VERSION 1)

To me this looks more like a corporate logo than a video game one. It also seems like it is a logo inside another logo. with the text being a logo alone. Try to make it more playful. It looks a bit static.

Did you research other video games logo's?
