Brief from client 

The client wants a clear and minimalist logo..

Y just removed the gradients and added a glass like effect to the symbol.
I also changed the font.

I would try using the glass effect on the wordmark itself instead of using an icon.

But in that case, I would use Blender to do this effect. Because Inkscape (The program that I used to do this) will be a little slower.
