Brief from client
Will be displayed on print material, yard signs and website. Would love constructive critiaues. Thanks
-I don't love the colors, but I might just be a weirdo. Under most circumstances I just can't get behind two blues together unless one is really light and one is dark or at very least if they don't clash. These two just don't mesh for me.
-The subtext is really thin and I don't think it'll be visible enough (or readable for that matter) when it's on a yard sign. Maybe switch it to a bold sans serif to give a little more oomph!??
Lastly, I guess I don't quite understand why the O's are both aqua. But the first and last name DO fit nicely into each other, you did a good job there and that I don't mind at all.
The colors are too similar. if you are going with a white background the OAAA (outdoor advertising association of America) recommends black, green, brown, or red on white for highest visibility. then use an opposite color for your callouts (not necessarily the O and star). Try brown with red highlights or brown with green! Or make the background yellow and keep the blue text (lose the aqua and use a more contrasting color) Just lose the star, its not doing anything for you. Keep it simple, people aren't going to vote for you because you put a star on your sign. I want to see your potential position bigger and bolder. remember, people will be viewing this while driving and it should be highly visible as you will only get maybe a 5 second view time. also, use a border, it will increase reader recall by 60% and you want those voters to remember your name!

The colors are very dull. The different colors don't make much sense, and neither does the star.
I would lose the star, it'll look like a different logo without it.
