Brief from client
Design a 1 colour logo that incorporates the dynamism and movement of Brazilian samba dance, paying homage to both male and female samba dancers, that's big and bold and can be used on T-shirts and posters and as a watermark on fotos and other digital & brand assets.

I think the idea of silhouettes will work. The feeling is right. I'm not sure about the relative position of the figures, they seem to be squeezed into the circle. Perhaps give it more space. The type doesn't look good with the glow and the way it's placed over the illustration.
For some reason I would like to see the silhouettes worked into the type (the type would probably need to be changed from how it is now). I just see some potential there.
The concept of harnessing samba through movement seems very appropriate. I'm not a fan of the symbol though. The man looks like a businessman while the female looks like she stepped out from Carnival. Maybe it could be resolved by using abstract representations of the dancers.
The typography needs to be tracked better. A more tightened line of type with spacing between the two words will read comparatively better.
saxophones, jazz, paris, this logo, things that make life awesome
You did not even bother to turn this scanned silhouettes into vectors.
Male person on the left is missing hands, probably had something in them or was a part of some old logo so you erased whatever we were not supposed to see and crippled the figure.
Overall design looks aged and unimaginative like it was created in the 1970.
Sorry mate, no workie, this is either a rip-off or just plain amateur work.
