Logo Mugwithglasses

Brief from client
This will be use as my personal logo. I think it suits my personality so I really want to use a mug wearing glasses.
I'm sorry, but nothing really works with this logo.
The symbol looks it was done directly on the computer, without any previous sketching.
The font work is very messy. The subtext is more prominent than the word mark. I'd keep Wisdom Script as the main text and find a nice and simple complementing font for the subtext.
And, in the name of everything that is holy, get rid of that awful bevel & emboss filter and never use it again. It just screams "amateur" and doesn't shed a good light on your abilities as a graphic designer.
I agree with JMG, remove the coffee stain, it only complicates things.
The color are really dull, kinda East German soap opera from the 70's type of dull.
Even though you have smash all my self-esteem, I still laughing for your critiques.
Also, and because I´ll would like to go to heaven one day :) I have totally deleted that awful emboss filter from my computer.

the idea is nice, but you need to work on the execution.
try to avoid the bevel in the text.
Thank you very much Mahayni,
I´m working on in, I have taken out the bevel in the text, actually I have changed the typo.
