Hello good people.
Here's another proposal for my cousin's salad bar.
I totally dig this style, but my only reservation is that it might more suitable for a bar rather than a salad bar only opened for lunch.
That being said, I think it goes pretty well with the direction I want to take: American/French neo vintage fusion =)
Tell me what you guys think.
As the other proposal, everything here is done by hand and vectorized.

Looking nice, but I think you're right about how suitable it would be for a salad bar. Maybe some fresh colours could help? Also, the swirls could have the hint of a salad leaf. Maybe the veins white-out. Either way, I'm pretty sure your cousin will want something a bit more mainstream.
I think the S needs to be something in between your sketch and the latest design. In fact, I think I prefer the sketch altogether, it's more concise and compact. I am a sucker for a sketch though.

OOH Sexy! Hey, a bar is a bar. ;-) I do agree with trying Alexi's idea of fresh color to see if that helps with the connotation. Killer work.
